Top - quality human resources. For the implementation of ambitious plans companies need top-quality human resources. Renovatio has promoted a “cherry-picking” approach in the constitution of its teams throughout geographies. Renovatio counts around 100 team members across all its operations and business areas. Among them, there are: wind and solar project developers, wind and solar engineers and park design technicians, electrical engineers, maintenance and technical teams, project managers, production managers and energy trading specialists.

The dimension and specialization of the teams is always determined by the specifics of the particular local market, the challenges and the time frame, the favorable conditions and potential for business development.

 

Renovatio has established a local development team for each of the markets the company is present on, applying, without exception the same work formula: a winning combination of local knowledge and skills with the support and expertise of Renovatio’s own in-house technical unit – Renovatio Engineering, based in Romania. Renovatio Engineering consists of a team of specialists in project development consultancy and engineering, formerly known as Wind Expert, with significant experience and success in the field. The team has managed to develop 800 MW in wind energy projects in Romania (out of which 85% was later sold to EDP Renovaveis) and bring to operation stage two projects totaling 228 MW, currently operated by Renovatio in partnership with EDP Renovaveis. In addition, they have built an impressive pipeline of 55 MW in solar projects and have seen through to operation stage a 1 MW PV project, also located in Romania.

 

The team got more complex, once Renovatio moved into energy trading and PV panel production. Energy trading professionals, as well as production managers, engineers and well-trained workers were added to the Renovatio team. Combining the skills of a team that has proved itself time and again (Renovatio Engineering) with local know - how in international development and managing to get on board excellent specialists in all the business areas the company is active on, Renovatio is set to successfully reach its objectives.
