ITALY - 30 MW in photovoltaic energy - under development

Italy is one of the most advanced EU members in solar energy and also one of the most attractive markets. On the renewable energy market in Italy, geothermal and biomass are decreasing its shares. The stars of the industry are wind and solar. Since the introduction of the feed-in tariff in 2005, solar has been constantly developing, resulting in an impressive number of solar plants already operating and a multitude of projects subject to the authorization process. 

The Group's strategy for Italy is custom made to suit the local specifics and the level of development of the renewable energy sector in the country. Therefore, we target projects up to 1 MW, on the one hand, and projects up to 5 MW, on the other as both categories stand better chances of reaching maturity and operational stage.
